Jim Wingate comes from Wales.
He is a storyteller. His stories play all over the world and he tells them in English.
In all his stories the children act with him, they play different roles, they mime a tree, a bird....
Because of Jim's way of telling stories by miming them, by acting out the stories, even people with little knowledge of English do understand everything he is telling.
He carefully selects the stories dependent on the age of children.

24th of November:

A room full of children, in the middle a friendly little man: "Hello, I'm Jim..."
He shakes hands with every single child and then he starts telling stories. But he doesn't only speak, he tells stories with his hands, with his face, with his body, he lives the story.

No single German words... but even our "youngsters",
the kids from the first form understand what he is telling...

They join the stories; they play the stories with Jim.

English isn't a foreign language anymore; the children don't even recognize that the stories are told in English and I'm sure, that some of them will have much more fun with learning English from now on.

After the time with Jim, the children said:

"... I understood everything...",
"We had so much fun....",
"It was great...",
"When is Jim coming again?"

PS. Jim Wingate spricht nur Englisch!
